That Safe Haven

That Safe Haven is a space designed for the South Asian community to connect you with counselors & therapists who understand and see you as you are. To feel heard and accepted in a safe environment. That Safe Haven provides access to real time care for your mental health concerns. The idea, initially conceived in 2021 today, is led by a team of south asian individuals driven to create a network of shared cultural experiences and create change globally.

Think of it as your home away from home. A safe space to speak with someone who will give you a hand as you discover all that you are becoming. A cozy space where you can be yourself, decide on who you let in, and which one of your friends is allowed to bring a friend, even if it’s their neighbour’s childhood friend’s aunty’s son. A warm space, painted in your favourite colours. A space where you can be alone and not feel lonely. A space of your own.

Getting Started

Getting started

Fill out the form with your details and preferences. This will help us understand the kind of mental health care you are looking for and which counselor/therapist might be best for you to speak with.

Initial consultation

Before your first session, you will have an initial consultation with your practitioner, at no cost. This will help you to get to know one another and see if it’s a good fit for your mental health care.

Booking the session

Once you decide that you would like to have your first session, confirm with our support team and schedule it!

Concerns

In any case, rescheduling, changing preferences and practitioners is always an option. Reach out to us with any concerns and we will make sure you find the care you need.
